In the recent 2022 Malaysian Budget announcement broadcasted on 29 October 2021, the Minister of Finance announced the SVDP for indirect taxes. A person with any potential underpayment of indirect taxes is encouraged to make good by voluntarily disclosing the underpayment to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
